Questions

Good to know

What does the score actually mean?

It's the percentage of Veriify's defined, versioned checks that passed. Every deduction traces to a specific, reproducible finding with evidence, not a black box.

What is the Fix Workbench & AI Agent?

The Fix Workbench (Pro and up) opens each finding with a proposed fix: edit it in a scoped sandbox, verify, and deploy as a reviewed pull request, with a built-in AI chat that explains issues in plain English and writes code you can paste in. Premium adds the autonomous AI Agent that fixes and re-scans on its own until your score climbs.

How does hiring a specialist work?

For anything the Agent can't handle, hire a vetted developer from the marketplace. They work in a scoped sandbox (seeing only the isolated problem slice, never your full codebase) sign an NDA before access, and are paid from escrow only after a re-scan verifies the fix.

Do I need to connect a repo?

No: URL scans work standalone, and even the free scan checks for known-vulnerable JS libraries, email-security (SPF/DMARC) and TLS-certificate expiry. Connecting a read-only snapshot (secrets are scrubbed first) unlocks the Code & Architecture score, dependency-CVE checks, sandbox fixes, and pull-request deploys. Deep Dive also runs your product in a real browser to catch runtime bugs (Core Web Vitals, low-contrast text and more) a static scan can't.

Can Veriify test an AI chatbot or agent?

Yes (Premium's AI-product testing converses with your chatbot or agent (via its API or chat page) and probes for jailbreaks, unsafe output, inconsistency, and) with your docs, accuracy, for one AI Trustworthiness score with every finding backed by its transcript.

Can anyone check a site without an account?

Yes. veriify.io/check/anydomain.com shows any site's public, observable trust signals for free, no signup, and our browser extension shows the same as you browse. Verified owners get a badge and a spot in the Registry.

Can I scan any website?

Only products you own or are authorised to test. Passive checks run on any target; Deep Dive and code-connected features require ownership verification.

How does the 7-day trial work?

Every new account starts on a full Premium trial automatically, no card required. It lasts 7 days; after that you drop to the Free tier unless you subscribe. Starting a real paid plan at any point replaces the trial, so you're never bumped back down mid-subscription.
