No — URL scans work standalone, and even the free scan checks for known-vulnerable JS libraries, email-security (SPF/DMARC) and TLS-certificate expiry. Connecting a read-only snapshot (secrets are scrubbed first) unlocks the Code & Architecture score, dependency-CVE checks, sandbox fixes, and pull-request deploys. Deep Dive also runs your product in a real browser to catch runtime bugs — Core Web Vitals, low-contrast text and more — a static scan can't.
